Mini Akter (47) has been diagnosed with High-Grade Serous Carcinoma of the Ovary, an aggressive form of ovarian cancer. She is currently receiving treatment at the Department of Medical Oncology, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital.
About this campaign
Following a biopsy that confirmed the diagnosis, her doctors immediately began chemotherapy. She has successfully completed her first and second chemotherapy sessions, but her treatment journey is far from over. Several more chemotherapy cycles, diagnostic tests, follow-up consultations, and essential medications are still required.
Unfortunately, her family has already exhausted nearly all of their savings to cover the initial treatment costs. They are now facing severe financial hardship, making it increasingly difficult to continue her life-saving treatment.
