Dry food assistance has been distributed among flood-affected families in various areas, including Feni (Daganbhuiyan, Parshuram, Fulgazi, Chagalnaiya, and Feni Sadar), Monohorgonj and Nangalkot in Cumilla, several parts of Noakhali and Chandpur, as well as Fatikchhari, Hathazari, and Mirsarai in Chattogram.
The dry food packages included muri (puffed rice), chira (flattened rice), jaggery, biscuits, chanachur, drinking water, oral saline, candles, and matches. Each family received a package weighing approximately 5–6 kg.
Due to ongoing flood conditions, cooking facilities remain unavailable in many areas.
Continuous rainfall has further worsened the situation, causing floodwaters to rise again. As a result, these ready-to-eat dry food packages are in high demand. A total of 200 flood-affected families received these essential relief packages to help them survive during this critical period.
