Shamsul Haque, a father of two daughters and a former expatriate, is an honest and hardworking man who is now fighting for his life after suffering from long-term kidney disease. He no longer has the financial support to continue his treatment.
His family situation is heartbreaking—his elderly father is blind, and his mother suffers from mental illness. Amid such hardship, he himself is now critically ill.
Doctors have confirmed that both of his kidneys have completely failed. The only way to save his life is an urgent kidney transplant.
In an extraordinary act of love, his wife has stepped forward, willing to donate one of her kidneys to save him.
